PBLフェスタ2015グランプリを受賞the Grand Prize of 2015’s PB

♡PBLフェスタ2015でグランプリを受賞しました♡
同日に行われたBBコーチコンテストの大賞と共にW受賞が叶いました！
2000年からのPBLとコーチングの試みは正しかったという外部からの評価をいただいた改めて感無量です。♡Our students received the Grand Prize of 2015’s PBL Festa♡
They also obtained the Big Prize of the BBCoaching Contest held on the same day, therefore making it a double-reward day!
We are practicing PBL and Coaching since 2000 and receiving a high commendation for it truly fill our heart with joy.
PBL Festa is about giving a speech in front of an audience about an accomplishment made with Project Based Learning. It was the first time our school attended and our student Ms. U. gave a presentation about ethical fashion, a theme she’s been studying for long years, while Mr. S talked about the History of Blues music and played for the public.
10 people participated, from grade 3 to grade 12. It was difficult to say who did best, but the Grand Prize was given to Ms. U. and another female student.
A characteristic of Tokyo Inter-High School students is the capacity to search for interests, getting engaged and being able to firmly express themselves and with their own words.
After I talked to her about the event, my daughter decided to join the attending team. She is currently attending a public junior high school. She didn’t know about the “P” of “PBL” but was able to make a presentation explaining that “Doing volunteering as a junior high student helps feeling useful to the community”. It was also a great experience for the students to participate to a Q&A session with teachers, professors, graduate students and other attendants.
PBLフェスタはProject Based Learningで学んだ成果を大きな舞台に立って発表をする会です。
当校からの参加は初めてでした。エントリーしたUさんは長年のリサーチのエシカルファッションについて、Sくんはブルースの歴史と楽曲演奏を発表しました。
10エントリーは一番下は小学3年生。上は高校3年生。どれも甲乙をつけがたい発表でしたが発表者が選んだ投票で当校のUさんともう一人の女子生徒が選ばれ、グランプリは2人に贈られることになりました。
内なる興味から探求を始め、自分の言葉でしっかりと伝えることができるのはインターハイスクール生の特徴です＾＾
公立中学に通う娘にも声をかけて参加しました。PBLのPの字も知らない娘が「中学校年代がボランティアをすることによって自己有用感が培われる」という内容を発表しました。
質疑応答では、教員、教授、大学院生、発表者たちがそばに行って質問をしてくれるという機会もあり、生徒たちの経験となったに違いありません。
