after / before
タイミング指定系の接続詞：「～する前に、～した後」
1) ～してから、・・・（after)
After you finish this, can you go ask Mr. Akino to come to my office?
これが終わったら、 秋野さんにオフィスに来るように言いに行ってきてくれる？
(= Can you go ask Mr. Akino to give me a call, after you finish this?)
2) ~する前に、・・・（before)
Before we continue with the project, we need to work out the details.
このプロジェクトを続行する前に、詳細をつめる必要がある
(=We need to work out the details before we continue with the project.)
解説：
接続詞で気をつけたいのはafterやbeforeの位置。
日本語では →「Vしてから」 「Vする前に」（センテンスの後ろ）
英語では →「after SV 」 「before S V」（センテンスの前）
スピーキングでは特にこの「日本語→英語」逆パターンになるパズルが難しい。
