「ずっと」の表現

映画を見てる間ずっと寝てた・・
旅行中ずっと晴れだった・・

こんな風に「‘ずっと’してた」といいたくて
ついでてきてしまうのが

all the time

でも実は　all the time = いっつも（何度も何度も）で
上記の文意にはそぐいません

Ｘ　I was sleeping all the time during the movie.
Ｘ　It was sunny all the time during the trip.

映画中ずっと
旅行中ずっと

のように「あるまとまった時間中ずっと」と言いたいのであれば

the whole time

これ all the timeとは異なって
その間中ずっと（一回のイベント、出来事の間中）の意

○ I was sleeping the whole time during the movie.
○ It was sunny the whole time during the trip

というわけでまとめ：
☆all the time = いっつも（何度も）= frequently
☆the whole time = その間中ずっと = for entire duration of a specific time period

ちなみに、the whole time は:
文章でそのまえにイベントやら出来事の話をしてから、
「その間中ずっと～でした」と付け加えるパターンが多し。

We went to Vancouver and stayed there for 7 days. The weather was nice the whole time.
「バンクーバーにいって７日間とまった。天気はその間中ずっとよかった」
