今日ちらりと聞かれたのでさっそくご紹介♪

解説
Bathe - bathの動詞形です♪ 読み方注意：”べぃず”（”ばす”ではなく） 想像どおり「つかる」の意
（ちなみにingがつくとeが落っこちてbathingになります）
in the afterglow - 余韻の中に
Afterglow:The comfortable feeling following a pleasant experience.
Afterglow: 「喜ばしい経験をしたあとの心地よい気分」(Free dictionaryから）
of のうしろに余韻を残すものを置いて。。。
例）
I was bathing in the afterglow of my birthday.
(誕生日の余韻にひたっていた）- 過去進行形
We all bathed in the afterglow of Christmas for a while.
(しばらくクリスマスの余韻にひたった）- 過去形
I am bathing in the afterglow of my wedding.
（ウェディングの余韻にひたっている）- 現在進行形
動詞も時制をいろいろ活用をしながらつかえる♪
