Have you ever heard of the Lions?
「ライオンズ」と、聞いたことはないでしょうか？
They are two mountains that watch over Vancouver.
バンクーバーを永遠に見張ってくれる高く秀でいる二つの山頂です。
Squamish Nation legend says they are twin sisters who were transformed into mountains. "The Lions" are sometimes also called "the Twins."
スコーミッシュという先住民族のある伝説による「The Lions」は岩かされた双子の姉妹だそうです。というわけで「the Twins」とも呼ばれます。
Vancouver's football team is named the BC Lions after these two mountain peaks. The same is true for the Lions Gate Bridge in Stanley Park.
バンクーバーのフットボールチームはこの影響で「BCライオンズ」と名乗ります。スタンレーパークの「The Lions Gate Bridge」もそうです。
