最近カナダの先住民のファーストネーションズのお話をよくしています。
But today I want to talk a little more about First Nations people themselves.
今日はファーストネーションズの人達についてもっと詳しく話したいと思います。
Today there are only a few First Nations people remaining in Canada, but they live all across the country.
現在のファーストネーションズの人数は少なくなっていますが、カナダの全土に居ます。
Please take a look at the map above. There are all kinds of First Nations groups, and the borders of their tribes don't match with modern international borders.
以上の地図をご覧になってください。様々なファーストネーションズの民族が居ること 伝統の境は現在の国境と違ったりすることがわかるでしょう。
Let's look at British Columbia.
ブリティッシュコロンビア州の地図を見ましょう。
If we look closely, within one province there are many ethnic groups.
見てみたところ、一州の中には沢山の民族が居ることが分りますね。
