解説

☆動詞＋前置詞でひとつの意味をなす「句動詞」（英語ではphrasal verb）

☆run into her, run into the teacher … など目的語はintoの後ろに。（run her intoはナシ）

☆run into の類義語：bump into ~

☆文脈によっては「ぶつかる」の意にも:
e.g. Not looking where I was going, I ran into the wall and hit my forehead really hard!
行く方向を見てなくて、壁にぶつかっておでこめっちゃ打った！

例）

Guess who I ran into this morning!
今日の朝誰に遭遇したと思う？

On the way home, I ran into three students!
帰り道で三人の生徒にばったり会った！
